I make product discoverable, usable, and valuable for the diverse populations and use cases of the world.
I have been leading global-ready and geo-fit product management and growth in new markets for over 20 years. I was Head of International Product & Growth at LinkedIn and SurveyMonkey, formerly led Localization at Google (Maps & Earth), VMware, and Starbucks. My expertise is in developing and optimizing adaptive consumer products for new markets' adoption, integrating the relevant regional and cultural factors. I leverage consumer insights and business core objectives to drive clearly defined, measurable, applied goals. My strength is in creating collaborative, cross-functional horizontal partnerships, effectively aligning international OKRs across the org with a clear-vision product rollout.
I create the product roadmap for optimizing core funnels in the holistic user journey: from discoverability and high-intent acquisition, to core engagement, conversion, retention and brand bond loyalty. In my current role as an independent consultant and professional upskill trainer, I help companies optimize product performance to accelerate their remainder headroom growth adoption in their target new markets, building strategic partnerships and alliance networks, harvesting the relevant data insights (based on user geolocation, locale interface and usability intent), capturing the customer pulse, measuring implicit and explicit signals + qual and quant insights for informed MVP KPIs. I create the PRDs and Country Playbooks for Product-Fit in New Markets, and advise on internationalization, localization, adaptive platform infrastructure architecture, and ISEO/ISEM best practices. In 2017, I founded GlobalSaké--a global community of 3,000 cross-functional tech leaders driving international expansion. I develop the GlobalSaké year-round industry events for knowledge sharing and collaborations. In 2023, I launched LocLearn, training professionals in International Product Management upskills to help them become more effective, rounded-perspective Product leaders.
